December 2016OSEA 2016 held its 21st Edition of the event at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from 29th November - 2nd December 2016. This is the most established oil and gas industry event in Asia and attracted more than 18,000 individuals from the industry sector and included more than 1,070 exhibitors from 48 countries/regions across the globe.
The start of the 4 day event was opened by Guest of Honour Dr Koh Poh Koon, Minister of State, Ministry of National Development & Ministry of Trade and Industry, which attracted a large gathering of industry experts, who were all intrigued to hear about the latest leading trends and future market developments.
Matthew Tincombe – Product Manager for Hose & Couplings said: “Technical information in the form of literature and presentations, about our main product groups, and relevant to this market, was available at this event and included; High Pressure, Marine, Dock and LNG hoses, Hose & Couplings, Sea-Water Intake Systems and Hose Management Services.”
ContiTech Oil and Gas, a division of ContiTech and a part of Continental AG were represented by individuals from Dunlop Oil and Marine, Eddelbuttel & Schneider and ContiTech Rubber Industrial.

Matthew continued to add “OSEA provides us with excellent networking opportunities and access to some of the world’s largest oil companies. Despite the downturn in the market our team had a number of goods leads for our Marine Products.
28 industry experts from ConocoPhillips, Shell, Chevron, Fjords Processing, Fluor, Schlumberger, Singapore LNG Corporation, Reliance Gas Pipelines and many more major oil companies provided masterclasses to over 165 conference delegates. Many commented on the excellent level of expertise from the individuals who presented and how rewarding it was to be able to interact in a learning environment with industry experts.
